THE CURE OF VELMA AGNES GORMAN 1921
Mrs. Thomas Rath of Lorain, Ohio wrote a series of fourteen letters to Brother Columba beginning on June 2, 1921 and ending on September 24, 1923. She asked for prayers and a cure of kidney disease that finally resulted in a diagnosis of “cystitis and pyelonephritis” from which she was not expected to survive. On September 10, 1921 she wrote to Brother Columba that she had been cured. Her physician, Dr. E.V. Hug wrote on February 15, 1933, his recollection of the case.
